Chris Busby

Chris Busby serves as Two Sigma’s Global Head of Investor Relations. In this role he is responsible for our fundraising and relationship management activities. He also leads the London office and serves on the Board of Directors for Two Sigma International Limited. Prior to this, as Head of EMEA Growth & Strategy, Chris oversaw the EMEA client business and was responsible for leading the firm’s expansion efforts into new businesses and orthogonal capabilities in these regions.

Before joining Two Sigma, Chris worked in the Institutional Advisory & Sales group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Prior to his work at J.P. Morgan, Chris was an investment banking analyst at Advanced Equities, Inc.

Before his career in finance, Chris played three years of professional ice hockey. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University of Ohio and is a CFA charterholder.

Tim Reynolds

Tim serves at Two Sigma’s Chief Operating Officer and has been at the company for 15 years. In this role, he oversees our corporate functions and helps drive company strategy. Previously, Tim was Two Sigma’s Head of Investment Management Business Development, where he was responsible for driving forward strategy and growth for investment management, including scoping and leading implementation of new research and trading strategies and new product offerings and markets, including building and overseeing the firm’s onshore China business launched in 2019. Tim has also served as Two Sigma’s Director of Operations, looking after key corporate initiatives.

Prior to joining the firm, Tim worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. While at McKinsey, he led projects advising major media, technology, and telecommunications companies on corporate strategy and worked with leading hedge fund and private equity firms on investment due diligence and portfolio company-focused engagements.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Dartmouth College and an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt Greenwood

Matt Greenwood is Two Sigma’s Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Investment Management Engineering. As part of his responsibilities, Matt sets vision and direction for a number of engineering and modeling teams.

Prior to joining Two Sigma, Matt worked at Entrisphere, Inc. where he served as Lead Developer and Manager for a variety of systems on the network element. Prior to that, Matt worked at Bell Labs, in the Operating Systems Group, and for IBM Research, where he was responsible for early efforts in tablet computing and distributed computing.

Matt earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in mathematics from Oxford University, and a master’s degree in theoretical physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Matt also holds a PhD in mathematics from Columbia University, where he taught for a number of years.

Ben Wellington

Ben Wellington serves as the Deputy Head of Feature Forecasting, a team that monetizes equity-linked market anomalies across investment horizons through research and development of vast amounts of data and proprietary insights.

In addition to his leadership role within the Feature Forecasting team, Ben is the Lead Research Manager for several systematic modeling efforts within Feature Forecasting. He also leads efforts on natural language processing.

Outside of Two Sigma, Ben is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Urban and Community Planning program at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where he teaches statistics using urban open data.

Ben earned a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bucknell University and a PhD in Computer Science from NYU.
