Pablo Sarmiento

Juan Pablo Sarmiento is a full stack engineer at Data Clinic, where he builds applications for nonprofits and leads the team’s open source product strategy. He has spent the last ten years at the intersection of software and social impact, where he has built early warning systems, data analysis products, and emergency response tools in the US and abroad. He is passionate about how technology can provide effective tools for the humanitarian sector and has a variety of experience, from public health to disaster relief. Pablo holds a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University and is pursuing an MPH at Johns Hopkins University. You can usually find him hanging out with his dog, Luna, and teaching her new tricks.
